This fact together with an increase in administration connected to the preparation of new projects and also the need to constantly improve both sales and services, led to the decision to divide the company into two companies: the original ALKA Reality®, which will continue providing companies and individuals classic real estate services and the newly established ALKA Development® which will be focused on the development and maintenance of new and existing projects, which will subsequently be commissioned to ALKA Reality®.
In consideration of the nation-wide activities of the newly created ALKA Development®, in 2009 a unification with the highly influential real estate chain ERA® was seen as the best way forward. This now allows ALKA Development® projects to be open to a far wider range of potential clients both home and abroad. For this reason it was decided in 2009 to transform ALKA Reality® into a unified subject ALKA Group®, which will cover all the marketing and economic activities of the companies in the group, whose number constantly increases due to a growing number of activities and will support them with the financial base of a strong super group and the appropriate advertisement across the market. The brand new ERA ALKA Reality® will assure the best possible development of the group as a whole and mainly its services for current and new clients.

The ALKA Group® is the successor of the real estate company ALKA Reality®, which was founded in 1991, so it has already been on the market in the real estate and development business for 18 years. During this period ALKA Reality® has literally been changing the face of Prague due to its main stream of business - development. The company has participated in the preparation, sale and implementation of many large residential projects. Among its biggest projects, for example, is one of Prague’s first projects of this kind “Hvězda Petřiny“, one of the largest “Terasy Červený Vrch“ or architectonically and due to its unique location the interesting project “Blue Moon Závěrka“. Our latest project was the preparation and sale of a 35,000 m2 plot in Prague 9, in the area Letňany, Tupolevova street, where you can soon look forward to a large residential development. Since 2006, after the completion of the redevelopment project of a block of flats into a modern office building in Prague 6, Terronska street, where both companies at present are based, the company ALKA Development ® has started on a large scale to invest in perspective plots for the future development of residential and commercial projects. At the moment the company owns or has substantial shares in plots all around the Czech Republic in total area exceeding 200,000 m2.
